At Team Kociela, we have access to a constant flow of information that keeps us on top of the issues that directly affect your neighborhood. All of which is why First Team leads every other real estate sales organization by an astonishing margin of more than 3 to 1. Know that our commitment to you is delivering the best possible service. You have our assurance that you will receive professional, courteous and responsive service. Just ask our clients.

"My aunt and uncle passed away in 2013 and I was tasked with selling the home that they lived in for the last 36 years. Tustin is not our neighborhood, so we really didn't know who to choose to help us sell the house. My husband found Team Kociela here and we decided to take a chance.

Erin, Richard and Jay have been nothing less than outstanding. They had a vision for ways that we could upgrade the house and make it more appealing to buyers at a very reasonable cost. They handled all of the contractors, who did an excellent job. The house is so beautiful that I wish my aunt and uncle could have lived in it when it was in this new condition...

Erin Kociela

Prior to entering Real Estate, Erin spent over 28 years in advertising and promotion, last as Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Director at Frankel, the largest privately owned brand marketing agency in the US. There she managed a creative staff of 25, creating brand marketing compaigns for some of the largest companies in the US and worldwide, including Nestle USA (multiple divisions), Honda, Acura, Mazda, Kia, Fleetwood Homes and AAA.

"Real Estate has always fascinated me," quips Kociela, "but I had no idea how well my creative and management experience would translate. The very same skills are used whether designing a TV commercial or staging a home." She went on to say, "and the people management and negotiating skills I learned at the highest level are in use every single day."

In addition to helping her clients buy and sell homes on a daily basis, Erin heads up Team Kocielas' staging division, Setting the Stage Design, a free service for their clients created to ensure that their properties sell quickly, and for the most money possible.

Richard Kociela

A car man from the start, Dick hails from Detroit, Michigan, where he began his 30+ year marketing career working for Ross Roy, and then Young and Rubicam, on the Chrysler business. While on Chrysler, he spent a good portion of his time here on the West Coast shooting commercials. Eventually he flew the Midwest coop for good and subsequently led the account teams for such clients as Yamaha, Mitsubishi, Honda and Nissan.

It was Dick’s interest in Real Estate that first made him suggest a career change to Erin. And, five years later (and as the team expands), he’s been proven right. Dick spends the majority of his time working with buyers—young and old—although you’ll also find him on weekends holding down an open house for Team Kociela clients, when not out showing property.
